ABOUT SAMACO
SAMACO is a coalition of organizations dedicated to promoting, protecting, restoring and preserving the rights of the people of Matabeleland for full and equal access to justice, enjoyment of fundamental human rights as well as participation in the civic, cultural, social, and economic life of its diverse society.
THE NETWORK—Made up of different organizations from different sects, of the society the coalition brings together organizations from all corners of the nation concerned with the development and welfare of Matabeleland. It is a cut across representative organ of all sectors of the community.
VISION
To advance for the socio-economic, cultural and developmental transformation of the Matatabeleland areas.
MISSION
Our mission is to lead in the enhancement and restoration of socio economic and fundamental human rights of the people of Matabeleland through advocacy and lobby in the local, national, regional and international forums through initiating projects that provide access to such.
OUR APPROACH
SAMACO believes in the power of integrated partnerships, by harnessing the available local social capital through unified and integrated efforts to consolidating available international support for the betterment of our society
FUTURE PERSPECTIVES
In the year 2013 the Coalition adopted an Eighteen-year strategy. The strategy has a one three-year period and three five-year periods of staggered program implementation
